On Octagon I did not do step #6 (didn't like the look.)
For the center I used a Jean Hilton 8 point star and carried it out to fill the space. That left me with a hole in the
center to fill. I think I used the 4 steps in octagon 2 to fill the hole.
For the background I used #8 & 12 perle cotton.
