Santa Doll #677 is a painted canvas from Dede's Needleworks. Karen chose the stitches and threads. Santa stands about 19 inches high, 19 inches wide by 7 deep (approx 46 by 46 by 17 cm).

The fur is a knitting yarn done in an underside couching stitch. The blue cape has a silver metallic woven through it. The side seams had to be stitched after the canvas pieces were put together.

The sacks are in ultra-suede.

Look carefully at the bottom of Santa's boots - there's a hole in one! The date he was stitched, 1989, is also there.
